Marketing Manager, Cannabis Portfolio


Ashley is responsible for establishing and negotiating industry partnerships on behalf of the National Cannabis Industry Association's Seed to Sale Show and Cannabis Business Summit & Expo. She also organizes media and press correspondence with news sources covering the events, acts as the onsite press contact and leads the integrated marketing and campaign efforts for all NCIA conferences. Ashley also works closely with the NCIA team to develop powerful, compelling branding and messaging for its national events.

 

Prior to joining the GSMI team, Ashley was the Global Marketing Manager and Event Marketing Manager at PAX Labs, Inc., a San Francisco based vaporization technology company reimagining the smoking experience with its innovative, premium vaporizers, PAX and JUUL. At PAX Labs, Ashley managed the expansion of the company's flagship product, PAX, into international markets, oversaw global press efforts on both brands, launched national and regional marketing and sales campaigns and strategized and produced over 150 B2B and B2C events and experiential marketing activations. Ashley also played an integral role in bringing five PAX and JUUL products to market in her time with the company.

 

Ashley graduated from Boston University with a BA in Public Relations and a minor in Business Administration. While in college and shortly after graduation, she worked in luxury fashion and entertainment publicity in Boston, New York City and Los Angeles. Ashley's interests in marketing, branding and the progression of the legalized cannabis industry are balanced by an active lifestyle, a love for travel and experiences and a passion for design and interior decorating
