Ben Zvaifler, Director of Training and Business Development
Ben Zvaifler is the Director of Training and Business Development at GSMI. In his current position Ben manages the expansion and execution of the GSMI training division. Ben's responsibilities include research, program development and sales for both in-house and public training courses across GSMI’s portfolio. Courses currently in development include quality assurance and compliance, social media strategy and policy management, and performance management topics. Additional responsibilities include curriculum development, strategic partnerships and business development.

Prior to his current position Ben worked as a Conference Producer and Content Manager for GSMI. Ben led the development and execution of GSMI conferences across several verticals including social media, technology, and strategic management. Along with his production responsibilities Ben also held the position of content manager for GSMI. In this role Ben helped launch several industry focused blogs, and acted as the Chief Editor for the Green Data Center Conference Blog.

Before joining GSMI Ben gained experience as a freelance author, residential real estate assistant, and a non-profit program coordinator in Southern California. Ben Graduated with honors from the University of San Diego in 2009.

Alicia Mitchell, Associate Director, Conference Production
Alicia Mitchell is a Conference Producer for GSMI. Her main responsibilities include speaker recruitment, topic research, agenda creation, program writing and design, content production, digital marketing, and on-site facilitation.

In her spare time Alicia volunteers for TEDxSanDiego, spends all of her money on live shows, and rides around the streets of PB on her beach cruiser. Alicia graduated from San Diego State with a BA in Spanish and Communications.

Breanna Jacobs, Director of Conference Production and Social Media Manager
Breanna is Director of Conference Production and Social Media Manager at GSMI. Breanna has been the conference production lead for several events such as the Mobile+Web Developer Conference, the Mobile Marketing Strategies Summit and the Social Media Strategies Summit. Breanna's responsibilities include speaker and keynote recruitment, event marketing and content creation, and onsite event facilitation. Breanna additionally manages GSMI's social media efforts across Twitter, Facebook and the GSMI blog.

Prior to GSMI, Breanna studied and taught English in Cordoba, Granada and Jerez, Spain. She graduated with a B.A. in Global Studies from UC Santa Barbara.

Matt Skraby, Director of Web Content Management
Matt Skraby is the Director of Web Content Management for GSMI. As a Producer, Matt’s responsibilities include research, communication, development, organization and execution of Green Data Center Conference events. As well as conference production Matt serves as the video production director for GSMI. Video production duties include on-site filming, editing, publishing session videos, mp3's, and webinar production. Matt also serves as the website presentation manager which includes uploading presentations, and managing users.

As well as his other responsibilities Matt is the onsite audio/visual tech for GSMI events. This includes the smooth operation of presentations,transition of sessions, and audio/visual components within the presentation.

Mike Scharbarth, Director of Operations
Michael is an accomplished professional with over six years of operations experience. He is in charge of event management including scheduling, logistics, travel and correspondence for national and international events. He is also responsible for preparing event materials and guest speaker trip agendas. At the chief liaison between producers and guest speakers, Michael works diligently as the central hub, communicating effectively and efficiently. As a GSMI team member, Michael has played a key role in weekly discussions focusing on promoting the growth of the company, reviewing business tactics, and implementing new organizational procedures.

Tom Dibble, Media Partnership Manager
Thomas Dibble is the Media Partnership Manager for GSMI. Thomas is responsible for initiating, negotiating and maintaining all of GSMI’s cross promotional relationships with media partners. These partnerships are focused on building awareness and creating coverage across all of GSMI’s conference series and events. In addition to his work with business to business media partnerships, Thomas handles assorted other public relations duties such as composing and editing press releases for GSMI, creating calendar postings and assisting with social media efforts along with other support duties.

Thomas graduated with a B.A. in Public Relations and minor in English from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

Mark Awit, Sales Director
Mark works with delegate registrations in various GSMI events, as well as working with sponsors in ensuring their marketing goals are met. His past marketing experience includes working with individuals as well as companies in determining what his clients’ needs are and how he can best provide solutions towards those needs. His sales experience covers several industries including automotive, educational, real estate, and medical.

Mark is originally from Los Angeles, CA and enjoys athletics such as basketball and football. His favorite teams are the Lakers and Chargers. He is also an avid photographer and shoots event and modeling photography in his spare time.

John Lee, Associate, Conference Producer
John Lee is a Conference Producer for GSMI. As a producer, John's responsibilities include topic research, recruiting and coordinating with speakers, organizing the event agenda and updating the event web page. He also manages the social media promotion resource and assists with web content uploads.

John grew up in Dallas, Texas and graduated from the University California, San Diego in 2012.
