MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. - August 4, 2010 - Frost & Sullivan is pleased to announce that Jake Wengroff, Global Director of Corporate Communications, will serve as a speaker for The Social Media Strategies Summit, to be presented by Global Strategic Management Institute (GSMI), taking place September 15-17, 2010, in San Francisco, California.

The event will unite senior-level corporate communicators, media professionals, marketers, technology executives, and analysts in a highly-interactive and educational series of sessions.

Wengroff will be presenting at 10:30 am PST on Day One, Thursday, September 16, 2010, in a session titled, "Paid, Earned or Owned: How the New Rules of Content Have Created Opportunity to Drive ROI—and Risk—for Marketers." During the presentation, Wengroff will address such topics as the creation of a content-focused culture that drives social media conversations, engagement, and sales leads.

"Too often, a company charges ahead with a social media strategy, without recognizing that it's a content strategy that needs to be in place at the onset," explains Wengroff. During his presentation, he will deliver a survey of the changing landscape along with opportunities for creative, dynamic positioning.

Wengroff is responsible for Frost & Sullivan's branding, media relations, client-facing messaging, webinar programs, social media, communications training, and internal communications.
